WESTERN NORTH: CHRAJ HOLDS ANTI-CORRUPTION SENSITIZATION FOR THE PUBLIC.

The Western North regional department of commission on human right and administrative Justice ( CHRAJ) has held a sensitization exercise for the general public on Anti-corruption of the said region.

In an exclusive interview with the Western North regional director of CHRAJ Mr. Eric Kumi Ntaah, “the event is to educate the general public of their quarter to support CHRAJ to enhance the fight against corruption which according to him is one their mandated legal duty in the region and Ghana as a whole” he said.

He specifically indicated that article 218 (A) of the 1992 constitution has stress out the anti-corruption regulations of every public official and it’s sanctions.

According to him, the general public should report to CHRAJ of any suspected or alleged corruption act of public official for investigation and prosecution to improve the fight against corruption in the country.

That notwithstanding, Mr. Kumi Strongly cautioned all public officials in the Western north region to desist from any form of corruption act for they are not going to tolerate and refuse prosecution of any public official when caught in the said act.
